Gene Chang
Gene Chang joined Flynn, Delich & Wise in 2023. His practice includes employment, injury, and wrongful death litigation in the maritime and transportation industries, with a focus on FMCSA and transportation broker preemption issues, and Jones Act and other maritime claims. He regularly represents clients ranging from defense contractors to cruise ship lines to intermodal equipment providers, and he has extensive experience in all aspects of defense litigation, from pre-litigation strategy and motion practice through trial and appeals. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, and spent six years as an associate at Latham & Watkins, where he specialized in employment, securities, and appellate litigation. He is also a former associate conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and continues to maintain an active guest conducting schedule.
