Melody Chang
Melody C. Chang graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2003, and received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2007. During law school, she was a Dean’s Scholar recipient and served as a staff member for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Ms. Chang was admitted to the California Bar in December 2007 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Northern, Central, and Eastern District Courts of California. Following law school, she worked as an associate for a maritime law firm, primarily defending claims brought under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. In 2011, she became an associate for an insurance defense firm that exclusively handled matters for a large insurance company. She joined the Long Beach office of Flynn, Delich & Wise LLP in 2012. Her practice areas include maritime claims in Federal and State Courts including Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims, passenger injury claims, and other personal injury and wrongful death matters.
